Please browse the links on this page to view Diamond Creek’s supply lists by grade level. The items on each list help to support our student programs. These items are suggested and not required.
Transitional Kindergarten
It is recommended that our TK students bring a backpack (large enough to fit a class folder, 10 by 13 – No wheels please), a healthy snack to school each day and 1 refillable water bottle with the student’s name. All of the items that your child will need this year shall be provided by Diamond Creek.
If you would like to donate supplies to our TK class, any of the following items would be greatly appreciated.
School supplies that are typically on sale at the beginning of the year
- Box of Crayola 8 Triangular Crayons (Amazon or Lakeshore)
- Box of washable markers
- Black dry erase markers (either Expo fine tip or regular)
- Watercolor Paint
- White liquid glue
- Glue Stick
- Play Doh
- Ticonderoga My First Short Triangular Wood-Cased Pencils
Donated classroom supplies that we need throughout the year
- Liquid hand soap and refills
- White cardstock
- Band-Aids
- Kleenex
- Clorox wipes
- Post-It Note Pads
- Sidewalk chalk
- Any old or unwanted toys/puzzles/games/dress-up, ect.
Please bring all of your donated school supplies to TK Back To School Night.
Kindergarten
Please send donated supplies with your child during the first
week of school and
check with your child’s teacher for additional items that may be
on their wish list
throughout the year.
Each child should bring a large backpack (without wheels) every day. Please be sure to label all personal items like backpacks, lunchboxes, coats, etc.

1st Grade
Student Supplies
On the first day of school, please send your child with the following supplies in a large plastic pencil box (8 inch by 4 inch by 2 inch).
- Pair of scissors (please label with your child’s name)
- No more than 2 glue sticks
- No more than 2 sharpened pencils
- No more than 24 count crayons (Remove the crayons from the crayon box and place them in the pencil box! You may throw the box away.)
- Personal water bottle
- Spiral notebook labeled with your child’s name
If you cannot supply these items for your child, please let your teacher know.
Shared Supplies
- Glue sticks
- Thick black dry-erase markers (If possible Expo brand)
- Skinny black dry-erase markers (If possible Expo brand)
- Baby wipes
- Ream neon or colored copy paper
- 2 or more boxes of tissue
- Hand sanitizer
- 1 box of 12 Crayola Markers (fat markers)
- Personal pair of headphones (within a month of school starting, please label with name)
- Ziplock bags – gallon, quart, or snack
- Any amount of Amazon gift card to replenish supplies during the year
2nd Grade
Please bring all supplies to back-to-school night/meet the teacher. Some teachers may request additional items after school begins.
Please send your child with the following supplies in a large
plastic pencil
box that can hold the following:
- 1 pair of children’s scissors (please label with your child’s name)
- 1 glue stick
- 2 sharpened pencils and a large eraser
- 1 set of Crayola markers (traditional size)
- 24 count Crayola crayons
- 1 thin highlighter – yellow only
Individual Supplies (please label with your child’s name)
- 1 wide-ruled spiral notebook 70 pages
- 1 wide-ruled – composition notebook
- 1 pair of sturdy/comfortable headphones to use all year in a gallon-sized zip-lock bag labeled with their name.
Shared Supplies (do not label)
- One-inch white binder WITH slip pocket in front
- 1 red Pocket folder
- 12 sharpened Ticonderoga pencils
- 1 package of glue sticks
- 1 package of baby wipes
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 package of Expo skinny dry-erase markers black only
- Boys – a bottle of hand sanitizer
- Girls – anti-bacterial foaming hand soap
3rd Grade
Individual Supplies
- Headphones or Earbuds (very important – we use them every day)
- Red pocket folder
- Green pocket folder
- Blue pocket folder

- 2 Spiral notebooks (wide rule)
- 2 Composition notebooks
- Pencil eraser – large rectangle type or pencil top style
- Supply box (to organize crayons and markers inside of desk)

- Large box of tissues
- Multi-color pack of chisel tip highlighters (fine tip)
- Pencils
- Package 50 white cardstock paper
- 1 ream copy paper
- Dry erase pens
- Hand sanitizer
- Baby wipes
Miscellaneous Supplies
- Shirt for tie-dying: White cotton t-shirt large enough to wear all year (100% cotton works best – a polyester shirt will not hold the tie-dye color as well. Please wash the shirt without fabric softener before bringing to school.)
- $10 gift card (Target, Walmart, Staples, Dollar Tree, Michael’s, JoAnn’s, Hobby Lobby, Amazon, etc.)
4th Grade
Individual supplies (please label with child’s name)
- Earbuds (place in a ziplock bag with your child’s name on it)
- Heavy Duty ½ inch Binder (no bigger please)
- 1 composition book
- 2 spiral notebooks
- 12 pencils – 1 box of #2 (no mechanical pencils…Ticonderoga are best)
- 1 pocket folder
- Black dry erase fine Expo markers – 1 package (No colored markers)
- Clean sock or dry erase eraser
- 1 package of glue sticks
- 1 yellow and 1 pink high-lighter
- 2 blue pens – No gel pens
- 1 black sharpie
- Student scissors
- Colored markers (thin and thick)
- Colored pencils (optional)
- Pencil Cap erasers or regular erasers
- 1 package of lined binder paper (wide ruled) 8.5 by 11
Shared supplies
- Last names beginning with A – L bring Kleenex Tissue
- Last names beginning with M – Z bring unscented baby wipes
5th Grade
If you choose to bring mechanical pencils, be sure to purchase lead to refill them. PTC will provide each fifth grade student with a mandatory planner. Replacement planners can be purchased for a nominal fee.
